About Grooms Gardens
Hello, I’m Cullen Grooms, a horticulturist and landscape designer serving Central Texas and the Hill Country. With a degree in Horticulture and more than a decade of hands-on experience in farming, outdoor construction, and ecological landscape service/design, I bring both technical knowledge and practical expertise to every project.
My agricultural focus includes biological (organic) farming, permaculture, biodynamics, and regenerative land management. I specialize in crafting outdoor spaces that enhance soil health, support pollinators, utilizing native plants that thrive in the unique conditions of our region. I am supported by a wide range of experience, from operating heavy equipment to carpentry, welding, masonry, and extensive local botany & ecological understanding, allowing me to deliver customized landscapes that are not only beautiful, but naturally regenerative.
I am passionate about sharing the good news of native plants with the community and promote responsible stewardship of the land and our largest natural resource – soil! The earth is our home and we are borrowing it from the next generation. It is our responsibility to leave this place better than we found it. We are focused on caring for the Earth to make a healthier community.
We are also pioneering the use of steam weeding in Texas — an innovative, chemical-free solution for landowners, farmers, and gardeners who want safe, sustainable weed management.
At Grooms Gardens, I’m committed to offering more than just landscaping services. I aim to provide guidance, education, and long-term solutions that enrich lives and support healthier ecosystems. From small backyard gardens to full-scale organic farm planning, I’m here to help you grow and thrive.
